We are growing rapidly and currently searching for enthusiastic sales professionals to help us introduce our products and services to K-12 schools in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan & West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of outside sales experience. Only candidates with superior hunting/prospecting experience should apply. Although a background in technology is preferred, we encourage all tech-savvy candidates to apply.

This is a rewarding position for a sales professional who is ready to take the next step into a technology sales career.  The job will be challenging, yet extremely rewarding, as you will be meeting with school principals and district administrators on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must reside in the Central Ohio area
  • Must be willing and able to travel within a multi-state territory
  • Air travel and/or overnight stays will be required (50% Travel)
  • Prospecting, presenting and closing new PlascoTrac opportunities
  • Presenting PlascoTrac face-to-face as well as via web demonstrations to high-level K-12 administrators
  • Cold-calling & foot canvassing schools and high profile school districts
  • A great deal of phone canvassing will be required
  • Candidate must be extremely organized & punctual
  • Candidate must have tenacious follow up skills
  • Candidate must be a strong closer
  • Self-discipline and focus to work from a home-based office
  • Preparation of quotations & proposals – attention to detail is essential
  • Participation in regional and national conferences and trade shows


Required Skills:
- Proficiency w/ Windows OS (PC-based applications)
- MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Comfortable presenting to groups
- Ability to operate smart phones and/or similar handheld devices

Other Recommended Skills:
GoToMeeting, Webex etc.


Benefits
