Plans to use PlascoTrac for more than Tardy Tracking in place
Justin Hinkley of BattleCreekEnquirer.com reported that PlascoTrac had a significant impact on Battle Creek Central High School by reducing the number of student tardies and improving the overall school environment. With PlascoTrac in effect, administrators process infractions more efficiently, and teachers have more time to focus on instruction.
Although Battle Creek installed PlascoTrac mainly to track tardies, the success of the program has led to an expanded plan to track positive behavior using the high-tech system, according to Hinkley. Battle Creek will be able to reward tudents who encourage a positive learning environment rather than just enforce discipline to those who do not.
