Maple Avenue significantly reduces tardies with PlascoTrac
Maple Avenue Middle School made significant improvements to the school environment in 2011 according to The Saratogian. One such improvement was the reduction of tardies. In 2009-2010 Maple Avenue had over 7,000 unexcused tardies, bogging down the attendance office and negatively affecting morning classes. Seeking a solution, Principal Joseph Greco turned to PlascoTrac.
PlascoTrac successfully reduced the number of students who had 5 or more tardies and 15 or more tardies by 48% and 81%, respectively. PlascoTrac enhanced Maple Avenue’s school culture with accurate attendance records, efficient processing of tardies, and consistent discipline policies.
