New Partnership Offers Best Pricing, Terms & Conditions To Members
MIAMI, Florida - March 16, 2010 - Plasco ID® announced today that it has been awarded contracts with the Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS/TAPS). Contract number 8012810 includes special pricing for ID card printers, ID card software and supplies such as ribbon, ID cards, badgeholders and lanyards. Plasco ID was also awarded contract number 1102109 which includes special discounted pricing for their PlascoTrac Student Tracking System. PlascoTrac is a popular student tracking system used by schools all over the nation to automate the monitoring and management of student activities and discipline issues including tardiness, dress code and other infractions on a school campus.
The TIPS/TAPS contract pricing is available to all participating schools and government entities. The TIPS/TAPS Purchasing System is sponsored by the Region VIII Education Service Center (ESC8) located at 2230 North Edwards, Mt. Pleasant, Texas and is governed by the Region 8 ESC Board of Directors.
The Interlocal Purchasing System is available for use by all public and private schools, colleges, universities, cities, counties, and other government entities in the states of Arkansas, Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. TIPS/TAPS Awarded Vendors have submitted proposals under the Competitively Bid Process and received a Contract of Award through TIPS/TAPS. These Awarded Vendors have agreed to provide the best pricing, terms and conditions available to TIPS/TAPS Members.
