We came, we scanned, we inspired!
ISTE 2012 was a huge success for us. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who stopped by our booth and visited with us in San Diego. Using RFID technology, we issued over 5,000 positive behavior points in the PlascoTrac PBIS Challenge contest that simulated how students could interact with our system on a campus, classroom, and beyond. We were impressed how everyone got excited to be scanned in the convention center, restaurants, and coffee shops around the event and were in awe when they instantly saw their point totals increasing. Our new exhibit was visually stunning and packed with technology leaving EdTech leaders from around the world energized to share what they learned with their teams.
ISTE 2012 was a perfect platform for the PlascoTrac team to debut our new mantra of being a complete student behavior tracking system. Gone are the days of using PlascoTrac for simply tracking tardies. Our users are finding creative ways to integrate PlascoTrac into their day-to-day experiences. The buzz at this year’s show was positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) data tracking. A majority of conversations were focused on using PlascoTrac to facilitate data collection and instantly reward encouraged behavior. With PlascoTrac, our goal is to increase merit-based behavior while minimizing disciplinary infractions.

We are also excited that we are now device agnostic, which leads us to a myriad of new products to help track student behavior. We released PlascoTrac for Web (including new dashboard and at-a-glance tools), PlascoTrac for Teachers (designed for iOS and Android tablets) and enhancements to our multiple mobile device options. The PlascoTrac suite of products can help track student behavior instantly, anywhere.
Thanks again for all of your support at ISTE 2012 and we look forward to continuing to share how we can help track student behavior on your campus.
