Socket Device Pairing

Please follow the step-by-step instructions below to pair your Socket SoMo 650 with your new Zebra MZ 220 printer.

Step 1: From the Today screen, select the Windows flag on the top left of the screen.

Step 2: Select Settings from the drop down menu.

Step 3: On the Settings screen, select the Connections tab on the bottom.

Step 4: Then, select Bluetooth.

Step 5: Turn on the Zebra MZ 220 printer that you want to pair with the Socket SoMo 650. Only the center green light should be on.

Step 6: In the Bluetooth screen, select the Devices tab on the bottom. Then, select Add new device.

Step 7: Select the printer (numbers will match the serial number on the back of the printer), and then select Next on the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 8: Leave the Passcode field blank, and tap Next.

Step 9: On the next screen, tap No.

Step 10: In Partnership Settings, select Serial Port, and tap Save on the bottom right of the screen.

Step 11: On the main Bluetooth screen, select COM Ports on the bottom of the screen.

Step 12: Select the printer, and then tap Next on the bottom right.

Step 13: In the Ports menu, select COM3.

Step 14: Then, uncheck Secure Connection. Tap Finish on the bottom right, and you're done!
